Thank you for your interest in The Last Green Valley Walktober event. We are happy to offer a great opportunity to learn your camera a little bit better while capturing some great colors of the fall!
What you need to bring
For this photowalk, be sure to bring your camera with a freshly charged battery, memory card, and your instruction manual (if you have one!). A wide angle lens is preferred but nature photography doesn't discriminate, a long lens can be just as good!!
What we will discuss
While hiking on the trail looking for some nice views we will discuss the exposure triangle of Shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Also the benefits of different cameras, lenses and other settings such as White balance, image size, RAW vs JPEG, and composition. But most of all capturing the beautiful foliage around Heins Farm!!
We will start at 1pm and finish around 3pm on October 9th. While a fully manual camera is prefered to be able to
give the most information to learn, you can come with a camera that may

create stunning fall landscape images in this visually appealing park. Participants should bring a camera capable of
photographing in “Manual” mode. For a personal touch & ample time for attendees, this opportunity is offered to a
maximum of 15 participants. 2 miles.
